On August 6, Wu Xiaojun, Qinghai Provincial Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress; along with Luo Dongchuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met in Xining with Tan Zhemin, President of Nanjing University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other leaders of the universities providing pairing assistance to Qinghai Institute of Technology and members of the Nine Universities Alliance.

Wu Xiaojun and Luo Dongchuan expressed welcome and gratitude to the guests. They stated that in the future, Qinghai will continue to make good use of the opportunities for educational aid to Qinghai and east-west collaboration and assistance, actively connect with pairing assistance resources, expand pragmatic cooperation with well-known institutions like the Nine Universities Alliance, and focus on promoting deep integration of industry, academia, and research in featured fields such as ecology, salt lakes, astronomy, meteorology, and medicine, injecting new momentum into the practice of Chinese modernization in Qinghai.

Tan Zhemin stated that Qinghai is an ideal place for scientific research. NJU will join hands with various universities to closely align with Qinghai's needs, leverage their respective strengths, and wholeheartedly support Qinghai's development, continuously strengthening the foundation of cooperation, broadening the space for collaboration, and persistently aiding the connotative and high-quality development of Qinghai Institute of Technology, contributing to the vigorous writing of the Qinghai chapter of Chinese modernization.

Qinghai provincial leader Yang Zhiwen, and responsible people from the Ministry of Education's Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education, Jiangsu Education Department, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Soochow University, and Beijing Information Science and Technology University attended the meeting.
